Katie joined Butler & Co in January 2016. She works as a Paralegal supporting Catrin Blake in our Court of Protection Team.
Katie Graduated from Bristol University in 2013 where her final year research project focused on the changes made by the Mental Health Act 2007 and whether they were compatible with Human Rights with regard to mentally disordered offenders. This utilised Katie's skills in critical analysis of large volumes of written information and independent research.
Katie attends Court of Protection Hearings, sitting behind Counsel and is a valued member of the Court of Protection Team, liaising with clients, courts and professionals in person, over the phone and via email.
