We have extensive experience in the area of general criminal law, though our practice increasingly specialises in providing representation for those individuals who have mental health difficulties. Both Michael Butler and Simon Cooper are Higher Court Advocates, being qualified to represent clients at all stages of the criminal process, up to final disposal in the Crown Court.

We regularly undertake a wide variety of work in both the Magistrates’ Court and the Crown Court. Michael, Simon and our consultant James Elliott are all criminal duty solicitors, and are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to represent our clients at the police station and at court.
